Position the DC regulated power supply above the grounding plate by 25mm, with the grounding plate made of aluminum or copper.
The output common terminal of the DC regulated power supply and the AC input ground terminal are directly connected to the ground plane. The grounding wire should be very thick and not less than 50mm. A 300mm-long twisted pair made of 16AWG copper wire is used, one end connected to the power output, and the other end in parallel with a 47μF tantalum capacitor, then connected to the oscilloscope. Aerial ground power 2, 36V aviation power supply 1, 400HZ variable frequency power supply 7, 115/200V power supply 2, 27V DC power supply.
Capacitor leads should be as short as possible, and be mindful not to reverse the polarity. The oscilloscope probe's "ground" should be connected to the ground loop as short as possible. The oscilloscope bandwidth should not be less than 50MHz, and the oscilloscope itself should be grounded. Output noise tests (including peak-peak noise, telephone weighted noise, broadband noise, and discrete noise).
