High-voltage DC power sources find extensive applications, ranging from power systems in DC high-voltage transmission and transformation to household mosquito zappers. Here, I want to focus on high-voltage power sources, which belong to the electronic power supply domain. The main applications of high-voltage power sources in this field include: use in some particle accelerator systems, industrial flue gas dust removal, high-voltage testing instruments, static equipment, and gas lasers, among others. Aviation Power
High-voltage DC power supplies, also known as DC high-voltage power supplies, are sources that convert AC municipal power or three-phase power input into DC voltage outputs of several thousand or tens of thousands of volts. Their output power ranges from hundreds to thousands of watts, and they are typically capable of stabilizing voltage or current. Early high-voltage DC power supplies converted AC municipal power or three-phase power from a power-frequency high-voltage transformer to an AC high-voltage supply, which was then rectified and filtered to produce DC high-voltage power supplies. The primary technical feature of high-voltage DC power supplies is their high output voltage. This high output voltage imposes special requirements on many aspects, such as the withstand voltage of components, structural design, and insulation materials. Additionally, the circuit structure differs from the usual configuration. 36V aviation power supply
For power supplies with output voltages of 10KV or less, various traditional topologies can be directly adopted. However, for power supplies with higher voltages, modifications to the circuit structure are necessary to accommodate the increased voltage output. Due to the voltage withstand limitations of power devices on the primary side of the transformer, the drive section generally remains a traditional switching power supply topology. The modifications to the circuit structure are primarily focused on the transformer and its subsequent rectification circuit. This article mainly discusses the following two aspects: 400HZ frequency conversion power supply.
