Low-power variable frequency power supplies have been widely used in the home appliance manufacturing industry, such as in refrigerator compressors and the testing of finished refrigerator products. These variable frequency power supplies provide stable and reliable high-precision power for home appliance testing, meeting the requirements for pull-test, aging test, and stall test, among others. Low-power frequency conversion power supplies also serve a crucial function in refrigerator applications: defrosting. As is well-known, the frost in refrigerators is condensation of moisture from the air or stored food, which solidifies into frost. It can reduce the refrigeration efficiency of the refrigerator, consume more electricity, increase electricity costs, and make it inconvenient to retrieve items. Therefore, defrosting is an important feature of refrigerators. Frequency conversion power supplies can provide high-precision and high-stability power supply to the defrosting detection line (220V 50Hz/110V 60Hz). When the power supply detects an output short circuit or any other fault, it will alarm and shut down, with the alarm signal being uploaded to the production line control system.
The Defrosting Principle: Once the compressor operates for a certain period, the defrost temperature controller detects a -14-degree temperature and activates. At this point, the defrost timer begins to run. Approximately 8 hours after the compressor's cumulative operation, the defrost timer reaches the point of initiating defrost. The defrost heater (pipe) then connects for defrost heating to start. When the defrost temperature controller senses +5 degrees, its contacts disconnect, ceasing operation. The defrost timer then runs for about 2 minutes more, due to the cam's action, skipping the defrost position to reconnect the compressor circuit for the next cycle. 400Hz power supply.
