High Reliability
LED street light driver power supplies, mounted at high altitudes, are difficult to maintain and expensive to repair.
Efficiency high
The power supply boasts high efficiency and low power loss, resulting in reduced heat generation within the lighting fixture, thereby lowering its temperature rise.
High Power Factor
For appliances under 70 watts, there are no mandatory standards. Although individual appliances with lower power factors may not significantly impact the power grid, the concentration of similar loads for lighting purposes in the evening can lead to more severe grid pollution.
Drive Method
A constant voltage source powers multiple constant current sources, with each constant current source providing power to each LED individually. The combination is flexible, and even in the event of a fault, it does not affect the operation of other products. Another method involves driving the LEDs in series or parallel, which is less flexible and requires addressing a faulty LED.
Surge Protection
Due to the switching of power grid loads and induced lightning strikes, various surges can intrude into the power grid system, some of which can damage LEDs. Therefore, the driver power supply must have the ability to suppress surge intrusion and protect LEDs from damage.
Protection Feature
In addition to the conventional protection functions, the power supply incorporates LED temperature negative feedback in constant current output to prevent excessive LED temperature, meeting safety regulations and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
