The power systems of current propeller aircraft come in both 24V and 12V configurations. Therefore, it is essential to confirm the supply voltage of the external power source before connecting it, to prevent damage to on-board electronic equipment. While the diode in series with the relay coil of the external power source can provide reverse polarity protection, it is ineffective against overvoltage or undervoltage protection. To ensureAviation Ground PowerEnsure safe operation during the process; safety guidelines to be mindful of when using aircraft ground power:

1. The operation of ground power units should be conducted by personnel who have undergone specialized training and possess independent working capabilities, and must strictly adhere to the relevant regulations for the use of ground power units.

2. Avoid long-term exposure or use of aviation ground power in particularly humid environments. When not in use, store it in a building or under a shed. If it is necessary to leave it outdoors, ensure it is protected from rain and snow.

3. Ensure the battery is promptly charged when the ground power vehicle is not in use, extending its lifespan while keeping it readily available.

4. Keep the power vehicle's power outlet and housing clean to prevent foreign objects from entering the power vehicle or contaminating the outlet.

In the event of oil spillage on the apron, ground power units must not be started.

6. During use, please pay attention to the protection of the power vehicle's cable to avoid pulling, cutting (scraping) with sharp objects, or being crushed.

When the power vehicle is supplying power to the aircraft, the driver must not leave their post.

When moving the ground power unit away from the aircraft, ensure the power plug is disconnected.
