How to Prevent Damage to a Variable 27V DC Power Supply

The adjustable 27V DC power supply's output voltage can typically be continuously adjusted within the range of 0 to 30V. Before connecting the power supply unit to the load circuit, ensure the output voltage is determined and accurately set. Otherwise, over-voltage adjustment will quickly burn out the load circuit.

The output end of the stable DC power supply has two wires, one positive (indicated by the red wire) and the other negative (indicated by the black wire). The two wires cannot be interchanged. When connecting the output terminals of the stable DC power supply, it is essential to first understand the positive and negative power supply terminals of the circuit. Reversing the connections will damage the circuit.

After connecting the stable DC power supply, do not touch the two connection cables at the output terminal. If you do not touch it, it will short-circuit the output terminal and protect the stable DC power supply, resulting in no DC output (press the reset button to restore normal output).

For ease of use, the positive and negative output lines of the voltage-regulated DC power supply are typically connected to red and black clips, respectively. The black clip (ground wire) serves as the circuit ground wire and has been repaired, while the red clip is fixed to the circuit. The power adapter is very sturdy and easy to use. Additionally, the external clips are covered with insulating sleeves to prevent short circuits in case of collisions at the output terminals of the voltage-regulated DC power supply.

Some DC voltage regulators come equipped with a DC ammeter that can simultaneously display the DC output of the voltage regulator box, which is very convenient for maintenance and repair. If such a current meter is not available, it can be connected in series with the output circuit of the stabilized DC power supply.

During the maintenance of the OCL power amplifier circuit, this circuit requires a positive and negative balanced power supply, as do other circuits. Therefore, a DC regulated power supply with two power outputs is being used.

When using an adjustable 27V DC power supply that outputs two sets of DC voltages, the two circuits are independent, thus the output voltages must be set separately.
