Industrial ice, also known as cooling ice, large ice cubes, strip ice, ice bricks, etc., is made by freezing pure tap water at around -20 degrees Celsius. It is primarily used for cooling purposes and does not meet hygiene standards. It is typically produced in an ice tank by filling it with tap water, adding a certain amount of salt ammonia and refrigerant, and then freezing. Therefore, it is not edible. Industrial ice blocks are usually made into large pieces that are 1 meter long, 0.5 meters wide, and 0.3 meters thick.
