Lightning Protection Principle: The lightning rod conductor is a non-inductive, low-impedance metal inner conductor that channels the lightning current after it is intercepted to the ground, thereby preventing side strikes and electrification on the protected antenna tower or building. In most cases, the impulse of the static field cable is less than 1/10 of the tower's impedance, thus avoiding damage to the building or tower.
Live-wired, it eliminates the restriction of lightning flash into ground current intensity, reducing the hazards of counter-attack and induced overvoltage for the protected equipment. The protection range is calculated according to the National Standard GB50057 using the rolling sphere method.
