A lightning rod tower is a common protective device in the form of an iron tower against lightning strikes. Also known as: lightning rod tower, steel structure lightning rod, tower-type lightning rod. The lightning rod tower comes in four specifications: GFL four-column angle steel lightning rod tower; GJT three-column round steel lightning rod tower; GH steel pipe rod lightning rod tower; GFW lightning wire tower.
All metal parts must be galvanized; protect the galvanized layer during operation.

A standalone lightning rod typically uses galvanized round steel with a diameter of 19mm.
The lightning rod on the B roof is made of 25mm diameter galvanized steel pipe.
The lightning rod on the top of the c water tower is made of galvanized steel pipe with a diameter of either 25mm or 40mm.
The lightning rod at the top of the chimney is made of 25mm diameter galvanized round steel or 40mm diameter galvanized steel pipe. The lightning arrester ring is made of 12mm diameter galvanized round steel or 100mm cross-sectional area galvanized flat steel, with a thickness of 4mm.
9 Lightning rods should be made of round steel or welded steel pipe, with diameters not less than the following values: for needles less than 1m long: round steel 12mm, steel pipe 20mm; for needles 1-2m long: round steel 16mm, steel pipe 25mm; for needles on the top of chimneys: round steel 20mm, steel pipe 40mm.
