1.1 Experimental Summary of Replacing Part of Protein Feed in Substitute Feed
The trial with 360 laying hens demonstrates that substituting feed yeast for Peruvian fish meal significantly improves production outcomes compared to domestic fish meal. There is no significant difference between the feed yeast group and the Peruvian fish meal group, but the production cost is notably reduced, with an average savings of 0.1247 yuan per kilogram of eggs produced. Adding yeast to the feed for growing chickens and laying hens significantly lowers production costs. Although the production cost during the trial period decreased, there were no significant differences in laying rate, weight, egg-to-feed ratio, and feed consumption ratio of growing chickens. The survival rates of both growing chickens and adult hens increased dramatically, thus significantly reducing production costs and enhancing production efficiency.

Impact on Poultry Production Performance
Feeding 5% yeast to laying hens instead of soybean meal and fish meal. Studies show that the 5% yeast group had a 3.28% (P<0.05) higher egg-laying rate than the control group, and a 20.44% (P<0.05) lower egg-breaking rate. Adding yeast hydrolysate to the feed of three-yellow chickens significantly improves the quality of the finished product and reduces the feed-to-meat ratio.
Enhance gastrointestinal microbiota and boost immunity.
Utilizing Saccharomyces cerevisiae to produce sweet potato starch yeast dreg feed, the study examined its impact on broiler performance, immune indicators, and intestinal flora. The results showed that adding yeast dreg significantly enhanced the immune function and disease resistance of broilers. Observing the effects of using both brewer's yeast and goji berries as natural feed additives on broiler immunity, disease resistance, and production performance, the findings indicated an increase in the spleen development index at 21 and 35 days of age, as well as in the Newcastle disease and avian influenza hemagglutination inhibition (HI) antibody levels at these ages. This demonstrates that the combined use of brewer's yeast and goji berry powder in broiler feed aids in enhancing the early development of immune organs and boosting specific immune antibody levels after vaccination.
