(1) The hydraulic actuator operates quickly with rapid direction changes. In terms of the flow-speed transfer function, it is essentially an oscillation loop with a high natural frequency. As the flow rate increases and parameters match, the natural frequency can be increased to be comparable to that of electro-hydraulic servo valves. The natural frequency of electro-hydraulic servo valves is generally above 100 Hz, thus the frequency response of the servo hydraulic system's actuator is fast, and it is easy to start, brake, and change direction at high speeds. Compared to mechanical-electrical system actuators, the natural frequency is typically higher.
(2) The volume and weight of hydraulic actuators are significantly less than those of electromechanical actuators of the same power. This is because as power increases, the volume and weight of hydraulic actuators (such as valves, hydraulic cylinders, or motors) increase at a slower rate compared to electromechanical actuators. This is due to the fact that the former primarily increase power by increasing fluid flow and pressure, while the volume and weight of the power unit may also slightly increase. However, high-strength and lightweight materials can be used to reduce volume and weight.

(3) The hydraulic system's actuator offers smooth transmission and strong anti-interference capabilities, particularly excelling in low-speed performance. In contrast, the mechanical and electrical system's transmission smoothness is inferior and more susceptible to external disturbances such as electromagnetic waves.
