Spiral sand washers and bucket sand washers require consideration of the following aspects:
1. Cleaning capability
The spiral sand washing machine has a relatively straightforward cleaning process during sand washing, thus it is capable of cleaning stones around 10mm in size, as well as fine sand less than 1mm, and is typically configured in large-scale sand production lines. The wheel bucket sand washing machine, on the other hand, has a weaker cleaning capability and is therefore suitable for medium and small-scale sand production line systems.
2. Sand erosion
During the sand washing process, the wheel sand washing machine uses relatively less water, requiring minimal water resources, thus resulting in less fine sand loss. Conversely, the spiral sand washing machine consumes more water and exerts a greater impact on the sand, leading to significant fine sand loss. Consequently, a fine sand recovery machine needs to be installed to ensure the sand's blend and fineness modulus is not affected.
3. Cleanliness level
The spiral sand washing machine consumes more water and, during the sand washing process, exerts a significant force on the sand through water impact. The sand material undergoes more time and cycles of flipping for cleaning. Therefore, the spiral sand washing machine offers a higher degree of cleanliness compared to the wheel bucket sand washing machine and is effortless in cleaning sand with a high clay content.
