The intermediate layer consists of a glass-fiber reinforced plastic arch-shaped cover panel that bears the loads from rain, snow, and personnel maintenance. The main load-bearing layer requires sufficient strength margin. The reinforcing layer is made with unsaturated polyester resin 3301 as the matrix, reinforced with alkali-free and untwisted glass fiber mesh, with a resin content of not less than 60% and a thickness of not less than 8mm.

The inner surface layer (rich resin layer) is the layer that comes into contact with the corrosive gases inside the pool, and it must possess an inner surface rich resin layer with properties such as heat resistance, corrosion resistance, impermeability, and antistatic.
