The waste and cement at the paving site must be cleaned up, leveled, ensuring the area is free of noticeable bumps and dips. The outdoor garage roof and rooftop garden require a slope of 2-5‰.

It can concentrate the water discharged from the drainage board into the nearby sewage system or the city's sewage system nearby.

The basement ground is impermeable, and an elevated floor is constructed on the foundation. Prior to flooring, a drainage board is first installed, with the circular platform facing down. Blind channels are left around the perimeter, preventing groundwater from rising. Seepage water then naturally flows through the spaces in the drainage board into the blind channels, eventually entering the collection pit.

4. The interior walls of the basement can be waterproof, with drainage boards installed on the main building walls, facing the main wall. Single walls can be constructed outside the drainage boards or the boards can be protected with wire mesh and cement to allow the space for external wall leakage to flow downward into the blind trench, leading to the collection pit.

5. When laying drainage panels, always ensure: do not allow soil, cement, yellow sand, and other debris to enter the front space of the drainage panels, and maintain the space around the panels clear.

6. When laying drainage boards, take protective measures as much as possible. When laying drainage boards in horizontal or outdoor garages, backfill the soil promptly to prevent strong winds from blowing the boards, which may affect the quality of the installation. It is important to complete waterproofing for basements and interior walls early on to prevent damage to the drainage boards from people or objects.

7. The backfill soil is sticky, and it is ideal to lay 3-5 cm of yellow sand on the geotextile. This facilitates water filtration through the geotextile; however, if the backfill soil is a nutrient-rich or lightweight soil, there is no need to add a layer of yellow sand. The soil itself is very loose and easy to filter water.

8. During the laying of the drainage panels, they can be overlapped by 1-2 inches on either side of a support, or connected with geotextile between two bottom panels. As long as no soil enters the drainage channels of the panels, the drainage will remain unobstructed.
