The Magnetic Float Level Gauge is a common type of level gauge used in the liquid level measurement process for industrial storage tanks. It boasts several advantages, including easy installation, convenient maintenance, high cost-performance ratio, and ease of use, meeting the standard requirements of conventional level gauges. Below, I will discuss the advantages and benefits of the Magnetic Float Level Gauge in measuring tank levels, to help you make an informed choice based on your specific operating conditions.
 
The Magnetic Flip Level Gauges are one of the common level gauges in the field of tank liquid level measurement, boasting seven key advantages as follows.
 
1. The magnetic flip level gauge comes in two installation types: side-mounted and top-mounted. Either way, it can be paired with a remote transmission device, allowing the level gauge to both locally display the liquid level and remotely monitor it. The magnetic flip level gauge, when paired with the remote transmission device, is referred to as a remote transmission magnetic flip level gauge.
 
2. The magnetic flip-level gauge, also known as the magnetic level gauge, magnetic float level gauge, or magnetic flip-stick level gauge, operates based on the principle of magnetic coupling. This magnetic flip-level gauge addresses the multiple drawbacks of glass tube level gauges, which cannot function under high temperature and high pressure conditions and are prone to breakage.
 
3. The magnetic flip level gauge is a measuring instrument that uses a magnetic float as the sensing element, reflecting the measured liquid level or interface through the magnetic coupling between the magnetic float and the magnetic body in the display color column.
 
4. The magnetic float level gauge indicator is mounted on the outside or above the tank, used to indicate and control the liquid level inside the tank. A closed form can be equipped with a drain valve as needed. The connecting flange accepts a custom level height control instrument. The indicator is composed of magnetic color plates, which flip when the magnetic float inside the body tube rises with the liquid level, thus displaying the liquid level height. Magnetic switches or remote transmitters can also be installed on the body tube, outputting switch signals or analog signals. Suitable for high temperature, high pressure, corrosion-resistant environments, it allows for both local display and remote control. The body tube of the magnetic float level gauge is made of seamless steel pipe, with pull-through welding at the connection points, and internally free of scratches. The installation method of the magnetic float level gauge can be side-mounted or top-mounted, with the bottom end of the gauge body sealed.
 
5. The magnetic flip-level gauge with on-site display boasts intuitive and clear indication, wide viewing angle, compact and reasonable structure, reliability, safety, no leakage issues, minimal maintenance, and low repair costs. Moreover, its indicating function does not require additional power supply, ensuring that level observation remains unaffected even in the event of power supply failure, making it an ideal level detection instrument.
 
6. The float level gauge utilizes the principle of connecting pipe to ensure that the liquid level in the container being measured is equal to that in the measuring tube. As the float in the measuring tube moves up and down in accordance with the liquid level, the magnetic material within the float interacts with the magnetic material in the color column on the display board, causing the color column to flip. White indicates no liquid, while red signifies the presence of liquid, thus providing an on-site display of the liquid level value.
 
7. The magnetic flip level gauge, when equipped with an UR type resistance level sensor, or an UB type resistance-current level transmitter and (secondary) display instrument, can facilitate electrical remote transmission and output a standard 4-20mA (or 0-10mA) signal to interface with recording instruments or connect to industrial control computers.
