1. During maintenance, it is not only crucial to inspect the magnetic flip level gauge itself but also to examine all the connected pipe flanges. Due to the corrosive nature of concentrated saltwater, it is essential to replace the pipes connected to the level transmitter on a regular schedule.
When a magnetic flip level gauge under air pressure produces fluctuations in the level transmitter, the following process can be followed for analysis and resolution. First, check the display information status of the level transmitter's magnetic flip board. If the magnetic flip board displays stable information, it indicates that there may be an issue with the level gauge transmitter module or the data signal transmission section. Then, precisely measure the electrical current signal output by the level transmitter, the output electrical current signal of the control cabinet's electrical equipment isolator, and ensure the circuit is normal to identify the fault point. If the display information of the level transmitter's magnetic flip board is consistent with the fluctuation on the upper display and the fluctuations are not severe, first shut off the level transmitter from the precise measuring vessel. For the desalination brine level transmitter fault point, open the filter valve for wastewater treatment. Meanwhile, check if the level transmitter's pump pressure switch is not functioning properly. If it is normal, inspect for leaks at the level transmitter's upper and lower gland packing, filter valve, and connecting flange. Additionally, observe the fluctuation status of the level transmitter by adjusting the opening degree of the upper and lower gates. This approach can help determine the performance of the level transmitter.
