Unbleached Yarn

After bleaching, the fabric surface is clear and white, making any remaining defects more apparent, particularly oil-based and colored defects (such as oil specked yarn, oil yarn, colored yarn, coal dust yarn, "three threads," and foreign fibers, etc.). Special attention must be paid to these defects, especially in chemical fiber blends and pure spun products, as they have a higher degree of whiteness and thus higher requirements for the aforementioned defects.

2. Print Blank

Printed fabrics are generally divided into two main categories: dyed ground printing and white ground printing. Dyed ground printing can somewhat conceal general oil stains, color yarn, oil yarn, soot yarn, uneven yarns, and some weaving defects on the fabric surface due to the colors and patterns printed on it. White ground printing, with more white areas exposed on the fabric, demands stricter quality standards for the above-mentioned yarn defects and may even require a quality equivalent to bleached fabrics.

3. Dyed grey fabric

The grey fabric is divided into two main categories: light-colored and dark-colored. Light-colored grey fabric, due to its paler shade, has higher requirements for fabric surface oil stains, color yarns, oil yarns, soot yarns, "three filaments," and other yarn defects. Dark-colored grey fabric is dyed more deeply, effectively masking defects like color yarns, oil yarns, soot yarns, and uneven slivers. However, it demands a higher standard for defects like snake skin fibers, cotton lumps, and dead cotton.
