Airflow spinning does not use spindles, relying primarily on multiple components such as the carding roller, spinning bowl, and false twist device. The carding roller is used to grab and card the incoming cotton sliver fibers, and its high-speed rotation generates centrifugal force to eject the fibers. The spinning bowl (a small metal cup) rotates at a speed 10 times faster than the carding roller, producing a centrifugal effect that expels air from within the cup. According to the principle of fluid pressure, this draws the cotton fibers into the airflow cup and forms a fiber stream, continuously moving along the inner wall of the cup. At this point, a yarn head outside the cup pulls out and connects the fibers inside, while the cup, rotating at high speed with the yarn tail, exerts a drilling effect. This simulates the process of feeding cotton fibers while intertwining and捏ing the yarn, connecting it with the fibers inside the cup. Under the winding tension of the yarn tube, the yarn is continuously stretched and output, completing the airflow spinning process.
