Full-width arc weft slant. This type of slant features weft yarn forming an arc or a wavy bow shape. It primarily occurs on the expanding roller of the bending roller. Due to the presence of small wrinkles in the flat width before entering the bending roller or cylinder, a bending roller is often added to serve as an expanding and wrinkle-removing device. While applying an appropriate tension to expand and remove wrinkles in the fabric, the weft yarn is also stretched into a bow shape with a central protrusion. The degree of the convex arc is related to factors such as the density and thickness of the fabric, the curvature of the bending roller, and the tension the fabric experiences on the bending roller. Additionally, on silk reeling machines and sizing machines, the fabric is held by hangers as it progresses, subjected to hot air, hot dilute alkali spray, or washing with alkali, causing the fabric to relax and produce a lagging effect in the middle section, resulting in a concave arc-shaped weft slant upon exiting the hangers.
