Reasons for Weave Bias: 1. If the fabric or knitted design is poorly designed, it can result in a weave bias condition. In such cases, the design itself must be completely changed.
2. Although the textiles were produced according to standard textile and design processes, a weft bias developed during the dyeing and printing stages. This type of bias incident is more common in short fiber and filament fabrics, particularly in plain weave. The reason is that rope-dyed and washed fabrics are prone to weft bias, as softer fabrics are more susceptible to deformation.
Therefore, when using rope dyeing methods or similar dyeing machines, the occurrence of weft bias in plain weave fabric is particularly pronounced, leading to a tendency to form a zigzag (S-shaped) state in the weave.
When warping occurs, resulting in defective products, the textile using the fabric (dyeing, continuous dyeing, printing) will all become defective. Particularly during the printing finishing process, the warping is easily noticeable.
5. The result of using fabric with weft twist for printing finishing led to a "bend" incident. The printed patterns are bent on the fabric.
