Air jet spinning does not use spindles; it primarily relies on multiple components such as the carding roller, spinning bowl, and false twist device. The carding roller is used to grab and card the fibrous cotton sliver supplied, and its high-speed rotation generates centrifugal force to eject the captured fibers. The spinning bowl (a small metal cup) rotates at a speed 10 times faster than the carding roller, producing a centrifugal effect that expels air from the cup; according to the principle of fluid pressure, it allows cotton fibers to enter the air jet bowl and form a fiber stream, continuously moving along the inner wall of the cup. At this point, there is a yarn end outside the cup, drawing out and connecting the fibers from the inner wall, and, with the spinning bowl rotating at high speed, creating a piercing effect. This simulates the process of feeding cotton fibers while also搓捏 yarn, connecting the yarn to the fibers on the inner wall of the cup. Under the winding tension of the yarn tube, the yarn is continuously stretched and output, completing the air jet spinning process.
