Essentially, it involves utilizing the relative angular displacement between the cross-sections of the cotton yarn, causing the originally straight, parallel fibers to tilt relative to the yarn axis to alter the yarn structure. During the twisting process, the thick yarn gradually contracts in width, with the sides gradually folding and winding into the center of the yarn, forming a twisting triangle. Within the twisting triangle, the width and cross-section of the cotton sliver change, transitioning from a flat strip to a cylindrical yarn.
