Spinning with an eddy current is a novel spinning method that utilizes a stationary eddy current spinning tube instead of a high-speed rotating spinning cup. In a sense, eddy current spinning is the true form of air jet spinning. The fiber strand is fed into the system by a cotton roller, opened into single fibers by a carding roller, and then rapidly introduced into the eddy current tube via the air stream. The eddy current tube consists of a core tube and an outer tube. The outer tube has three tangential inlets at the top, connected to a blower at the bottom. The blower continuously draws air through the tube, with outside air entering the eddy current tube through the inlets, creating a swirling air stream. As the upward swirling air reaches the core tube, it merges with the fibers entering from the cotton delivery pipe, forming a condensed fiber ring along the inner wall of the eddy current tube. This ring stabilizes around the axis of the eddy current tube, rotating at high speed and twisting the fibers into yarn. The yarn is continuously drawn out through a guide hole and wound onto a roller to form a spool.
