Air jet spinning does not use spindles; it primarily relies on multiple components such as the card roller, spinning bowl, and false twist device. The card roller is used to grab and card the incoming cotton sliver fibers, and its high-speed rotation generates centrifugal force to propel the fibers outward. The spinning bowl (a small metal cup) rotates at a speed 10 times faster than the card roller, creating a centrifugal effect that expels air from within the cup; according to the principle of fluid pressure, it draws the cotton fibers into the air jet cup and forms a fiber stream that continuously moves along the cup's inner wall. At this point, there is a yarn end outside the cup, drawing out and connecting the fibers from the inner wall, and with the cup's high-speed rotation and the drilling effect created by the yarn tail, it's as if feeding cotton fibers and搓捏 yarns simultaneously, connecting the yarn to the fibers on the inner wall of the cup. Under the winding tension of the yarn bobbin, the fibers are continuously stretched and outputted as yarn, completing the air jet spinning process.
