Spun using a stationary spiral yarn spinning tube, vortex spinning is a novel yarn spinning method that replaces the high-speed rotating spinning bowl. In a sense, vortex spinning is the true form of air jet spinning. The fiber strand is fed by a cotton roller, opened into single fibers by a card, and then, with the aid of air flow, rapidly introduced into the vortex tube through the cotton conveying pipe. The vortex tube consists of two parts: the core tube and the outer tube. The outer tube has three tangential inlet vents, connected to a blower at the bottom. The blower continuously draws air from the tube, with outside air entering the vortex tube through the vents, creating a swirling air current. As the upward swirling air reaches the core tube, it merges with the fibers entering from the cotton conveying pipe, forming a cohesive fiber ring along the inner wall of the vortex tube, which rotates stably around the tube's axis at high speed, twisting the fibers into yarn. The yarn is continuously drawn out through a guide hole by a take-up roller and wound into a cake.
