Tube difference refers to the color variation between different tubes of fabric in缸 dyeing. The causes of tube difference are multifaceted.
The direct cause analysis is as follows:
(1) Variation in the quantity of distribution per tube.
In air-jet dyeing, the exchange between the dye solution and the fabric is completed within the nozzle system. The frequency of exchange is related to the fabric cycle, which is determined by the fabric speed and length. The fabric speed is controlled by the air volume and the speed of the lifting roller. Generally, the fabric speeds of the various pipes on the same machine are relatively consistent. Therefore, if there are significant differences in the fabric lengths of the various pipes, it will result in considerable variations in the fabric cycle times. This means that during the dyeing time, there will be substantial differences in the number of exchanges between the fabric and the dye solution in each pipe, leading to dyeing tube discrepancies.
(2) Differences in fabric speed.
In air-jet dyeing, the number of exchanges between the dye solution and the fabric is determined by the dye solution circulation frequency and the fabric speed. In the dyeing process within the same dye bath, the circulation frequency of the dye solution in each tube is identical. Therefore, if there is a significant difference in fabric speed, it can lead to a considerable variation in the number of exchanges between the fabric and the dye solution, resulting in tube discrepancies.
(3) Clogging of the dye jet nozzle.
Severe nozzle clogging can prevent dyeing from continuing, which is absolutely unacceptable: while minor clogging doesn't disrupt the dyeing process, it may cause inconsistencies in the dye tubes. Normally, each nozzle has a consistent diameter and liquid output, but clogs can lead to variations in the amount of liquid sprayed. Significant differences in the liquid output of each nozzle can result in dye tube inconsistencies. Causes of clogging include thread ends, excessive long fibers, and other debris entering the nozzle and not being washed away by the dye.
(4) Leak in the air jet nozzle.
Inside the nozzle system, the air flow nozzle is mounted on the nozzle seat. Once installed, there should be a good seal between the fabric inlet side of the air flow nozzle and the liquid-gas two-phase mixing chamber. If the seal is not tight, it will affect the atomization effect of the dye liquid; secondly, the dye liquid may leak into the inlet side of the air flow nozzle.
