There are several reasons for holes caused during dyeing and finishing: (1) excessive usage of acid oxygen water; (2) high iron ion content in the water; (3) if the holes are regular, there may be an issue with the equipment; (4) improper "temperature + time" parameters; (5) holes during bleaching are often due to the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and iron ions; (6) excessive purity of hydrogen peroxide and alkali; (7) whether softener was added during pretreatment and dyeing, as the water may have a high metal ion content; (8) rapid local decomposition of hydrogen peroxide caused by heavy metal ions, leading to holes.
