Snowflake Wash uses porous pumice stone soaked in potassium permanganate solution, then directly grinds it against clothing in a tumbling drum. The pumice stone grinds into the fabric, oxidizing the friction points with potassium permanganate, resulting in an irregular fading on the fabric surface, creating white speckles resembling snowflakes.

The general process of Snowflake Laundry's washing is as follows:

Quartz dipped in potassium permanganate - Quartz abrasion on clothes - Snowflake effect on the board - Remove clothes and rinse off stone dust from the clothes in the washing tank with clear water - Oxalic acid neutralization - Rinse - Apply softener.
