Distinguishing Jet Spinning from涡流Spinning

The structure of jet yarn consists of two parts: the core fiber and the outer sheath fiber. The core fibers are parallel and twisted, resulting in a tightly packed structure. The outer sheath fibers are loose and irregularly wrapped around the core, making the jet yarn structure more fluffy and full-looking. The structure of the vortex yarn also includes a core fiber and an outer sheath fiber. The core fibers are arranged in parallel without twist, while the outer sheath fibers are wrapped in a regular spiral around the core surface, with a higher proportion of regular spiral wrapping fibers accounting for about 60% of the total fibers, almost completely covering the untwisted fibers inside, overcoming the core showing issue of jet yarn. The surface fiber arrangement is closer to traditional ring-spun yarn, with a tighter structure. Therefore, by peeling off the outer fibers and examining whether the inner fibers are twisted and if the wrapping fibers are regular, the two can be distinguished. Moreover, jet spinning is mainly used for producing blended fibers with cotton, pure synthetic fibers, and their blends, while no jet spinning is used for 100% cotton.
