Identifying Ring Spun and Air Jet Spun Yarns

Ring-spun yarn is produced on a fine yarn machine with a Z twist in the spinning process, allowing for separation of fibers when using an S twist for degumming. Air-jet spun yarn, however, forms涡流 through air rotation, causing fibers on the yarn surface to tangle while the inner fibers have a certain twist. Due to the tangling on the surface, fibers cannot be separated regardless of using Z or S twist to untwist. Therefore, these methods differentiate the two types of yarn, and ring-spun yarn generally exhibits higher strength than air-jet spun yarn for the same yarn count.
