The characteristics of Silk Cotton
Due to the expansion of the fibers, their arrangement becomes more orderly, resulting in a more regular reflection of light, thereby enhancing luster. After the silk finish process, the crystal regions of the fibers decrease, while the amorphous regions increase. Since the action of fuel and other chemicals on the fibers occurs in the amorphous regions, the dye uptake rate and the fiber's chemical reactivity are both improved post-silk finish. During the silk finish process, the arrangement of the fiber macromolecules becomes more orderly, with increased orientation, and uneven deformations on the fiber surface are eliminated, reducing weak points. When subjected to external forces, more macromolecules can distribute evenly, increasing the single断裂 strength while decreasing the elongation at break. The shaping effect of silk finish can be used to eliminate rope-like creases and better meet the quality requirements of semi-finished products for dyeing and printing. More importantly, the stability of fabric shrinkage deformation is significantly improved after silk finish, greatly reducing the shrinkage rate of the fabric.
