Reason for H2O2 Bleaching Causing Holes Analyzed:

Wet fabric with oil stains containing heavy metal ions such as copper and iron prior to bleaching; or contact with copper and iron equipment during the bleaching process.

Excessive hydrogen peroxide concentration, extended steam sterilization time after bleaching, or the use of overly hot steam.

(3) If the grey fabric is first subjected to mercerization before bleaching, inadequate and uneven washing after mercerization can lead to an excessively high pH level and localized overabundance of alkali on the fabric surface.

(4) Incorrect stabilizer selection or poor stabilization effect of the stabilizer can lead to the accelerated decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. All of the above points can cause fabric holes, but the hazard of heavy metal ions is greater.
