The Causes of Weft Twist: 1. If the fabric or knitted design is poorly designed, it will result in a weft twist condition. In this case, the design itself must be entirely altered.
2. Although the textiles were produced according to standard textile and design processes, a weft twist occurred during the dyeing and printing stages. This type of twist accident is more common in short fiber and long fiber plain weave fabrics in dyeing and printing factories. The reason is that rope-dyed and washed fabrics are prone to weft twist, as softer fabrics are more susceptible to deformation.
Therefore, when using rope dyeing or similar dyeing machines, it is particularly noticeable that plain weave fabric tends to develop warp bias, easily forming a zigzag (S-shaped) state in the fabric.
4. When warping occurs, resulting in defective products, any textiles made from the fabric (dyeing, continuous dyeing, printing) will also be considered defective. Particularly during the printing finishing process, the warping is easily noticeable.
5. The state of "bending" accidents caused by printing finishing on fabric with crooked weaves. The printed patterns appear curved on the fabric. The squeegee belt on round-screen or automatic flat-screen printing machines, if it sticks to unaligned fabric, is prone to cause crooked weaves.
