Single yarn streak refers to the phenomenon where one or several rows of loops on the surface of the fabric are larger or smaller than the others, resulting in uneven density. In actual production, single yarn streaks caused by raw materials are quite common.

Reasons for Occurrence: a. Poor yarn quality, such as color differences in single filaments due to tight twist yarn, non-standard batch chemical long fibers, uncolored long fibers, or mixing yarns of different counts, directly leads to the occurrence of horizontal stripes in single filaments.

b. Significant differences in the size of the yarn cones or the presence of bulges and warps in the silk cakes can lead to uneven tension during unwinding, which is prone to produce cross stripes in single filaments. This is due to the varying sizes of the cones affecting their winding points and the diameter of the unwinding air circles, resulting in considerable differences in the tension release patterns. During the weaving process, when tension differences are excessive, it can cause variations in the yarn feed rate, ultimately leading to uneven loop sizes.

c. During processing with porous and ultra-fine denier materials, the yarn path should be as smooth as possible. Slight roughness or oil垢 solidification in a guide hook can easily cause multiple filaments of the material to break, resulting in color differences among the filaments. Compared to processing with conventional materials, it demands higher equipment standards and is more prone to produce cross yarn streaks in the finished fabric.

d. Inadequate machine adjustments, excessively deep or shallow needle triangle, cause abnormal yarn tension, resulting in inconsistent coil sizes.
