Application Range: K-Type Reciprocating Coal Feeding Machine

 

This equipment is suitable for industries such as mines and coal preparation plants, where it evenly loads coal or other granular, non-abrasive, and non-adhesive materials from storage bins or similar into conveyors or other screening and storage equipment.

 

K-type reciprocating coal feeder structure principle

 

The reciprocating coal feeder is composed of a frame, base plate (feed trough), drive platform, hopper gate, idler roller, etc. It uses a crank and connecting rod mechanism to drive the inclined base plate (at a 5° angle) to perform a straight reciprocating motion on the roller. Once the motor is activated, it drives the inclined base plate on the insert roller to move in a straight reciprocating motion via an elastic coupling, a reducer, and the crank and connecting rod mechanism, evenly distributing coal onto conveying equipment or other screening devices. The K-type reciprocating coal feeder comes in two forms: one with a hopper and regulating valve, and another without a hopper or regulating valve.

6. The driving unit is symmetrically arranged and features dual push rods, ensuring balanced force distribution throughout the entire machine, smooth transmission, and eliminating the twisting motion during the reciprocating movement of the base plate.

K-type reciprocating coal feeder daily maintenance and inspection:

Before the feeding machine operates, the material storage should be adequately stocked to prevent direct impact on the bottom plate when loading materials into the storage.

2. After each month of continuous operation, inspect the machinery for any looseness or abnormal conditions. If any abnormalities are found, they should be repaired immediately.

3. The bottom backing plate in contact with the material on the feeding machine, if its wear degree exceeds half of the original thickness, it must be repaired or replaced.

4. After six continuous months of operation, rotating components should be inspected once. The mechanical parts of the pull rod must maintain normal fit. Any abnormal conditions should be repaired or replaced immediately.

5. Maintenance of reciprocating feeder's main components:

a. Reducer: Inspect every six months and clean or replace lubricating oil for the rolling bearings and housing.

b. Electric Motor: Perform maintenance and care according to the specified requirements for the electric motor.
