How to Extend the Service Life of Vibrating Motors
To ensure a longer lifespan for your vibration motor, we should pay attention to the following points when using it:
Inspect the motor's exterior for cracks, ensure all fastening screws and parts are complete, and verify that the fastening condition is secure.
Ensure the reliability of the vibration motor's transmission mechanism operation.
3. Verify the data on the label, such as voltage, power, frequency, connection, and speed, to ensure they match the power supply and load.
4. Before use, new or long-term unused motors should be checked for insulation resistance between windings and between windings and ground. Typically, a 500V insulation resistance meter is used for motors under 500V; a 1000V insulation resistance meter for motors between 500V and 1000V; and a 2500V insulation resistance meter for motors above 1000V. The insulation resistance should not be less than 1MΩ per kilovolt of working voltage, and should be measured when the motor is at a cool state.
5. Inspect the ventilation and bearing lubrication of the vibration motor for proper functioning.
6. Engage the motor shaft and check if the rotor rotates freely, and if there are any unusual noises during rotation.
7. Inspect the brush assembly of the motor and ensure the lift brush mechanism is flexible. Check if the lift brush handle is in the correct position.
8. Verify the reliability of the motor grounding device.
