Equipment Application
A 1300℃ high-temperature electrode salt bath furnace is a nationally standardized energy-saving industrial electric furnace with salt bath heating. It melts the salt liquid using electrodes, which is then used to heat metal components in the melted salt liquid or mixed salt liquid for heat treatments such as quenching, annealing, and oxidation-free heating. The operating temperature range is 1000-1300°C.

Structure Overview
1. Furnace Body: The high-temperature electrode salt bath furnace is rectangular in structure, with the shell made of angle steel and steel plates welded together.
2. Furnace Liner: Made of steel plate, the inner shell features a salt tank composed of standard energy-saving bricks. This design prevents molten salt from渗入 insulation and outside the salt tank, making it easy to remove and repair the salt tank in case of damage.
3. Electrodes: High-temperature electrode salt bath furnace electrodes are inserted from the side of the salt tank bottom, with one surface contacting the bath salt and the other three surfaces embedded in refractory bricks. This structure is designed to extend the service life of the electrodes.
4. Water-cooled jacket: The electrode is specially designed to prevent short-circuiting between the two electrodes due to slag accumulation. The electrode outside the inner tank is equipped with a water-cooled jacket. When molten salt flows out along the electrode, it solidifies upon contact with the water-cooled jacket, thereby preventing salt leakage.
5. The furnace side is equipped with an exhaust hood, connected to the workshop's exhaust pipe, to expel harmful gases produced by the electrode salt bath furnace.
6. Temperature Control System: Supplied with the electrode salt bath furnace is an electric furnace control cabinet, designed to regulate the furnace's temperature. The control cabinet features a temperature indicator gauge, connected to a thermocouple immersed in the salt bath via a compensating wire, allowing for temperature indication, recording, and automatic adjustment.

Operating Principle
The high-temperature electrode salt bath furnace uses salts as the heating medium. Depending on the different working temperatures, salts or mixed salts of different compositions can be selected. The salt is non-conductive before melting, so the furnace must use a starting electrode to melt the salt. As the current passes through the conductive molten salt, heat is continuously generated, maintaining the melting state. Due to the electromagnetic force acting on the electrodes, the molten salt is continuously circulated through natural convection and electromagnetic stirring, allowing for rapid and uniform heating of the workpiece.
