Position the manual screw shutter at the device location. Place a limit disk onto the screw, then thread the screw into the machine from the bottom of the beam. Once the screw is visible from the top of the machine, attach the limit disk. The bottom of the screw connects to the gate. The screw shutter can only be installed after ensuring the base is level. The base of the shutter must be in contact with the base plane over 90% of its area. The screw axis must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane measured on the platform, and it is necessary to prevent the screw from tilting to avoid localized stress on the machine components.

It is essential to ensure stability and safety for the foundation of the equipment's opening and closing mechanism. The concrete for the base and structural components must be poured according to the drawings. It is strictly prohibited to remove or alter the temporary supports for the opening and closing mechanism until the concrete reaches the planned strength. No trial adjustment or operation is allowed. During installation, align the center by following the centerline of the gate hoisting, ensuring the longitudinal and transverse centerline errors do not exceed ±3mm, and the elevation error does not exceed ±5mm. Then, pour the second-stage concrete or connect with the pre-buried steel plate. For the installation of electrical equipment, it must comply with the drawings and specifications, and all electrical equipment must be reliably grounded. After the product is installed, clean the machine, repair damaged protective paint, and fill with lubricant. A trial run must be conducted after installation to check for any abnormal sounds in the two strokes of the screw and to verify that the installation meets national technical standards.
After installation, it is imperative to conduct a trial operation. First, perform a no-load test, which involves running the screw for two strokes to listen for any abnormal sounds and check if the device meets technical requirements. Second, conduct a load test, running the screw for two strokes under additional load to investigate the operation of the screw and gate for any anomalies. Only after confirmation of no issues can the device be officially operated. After a period of operation under load, the first maintenance should be carried out. Clean the metal shavings produced by the friction of new internal components, particularly the screw, nut, turbine, and worm, gently and thoroughly. Apply lubricant, seal it tightly, and continue to use.
