The cleaner is assembled into a set of rotating grate chains with unique tines. The tine chain rotates in the opposite direction of the current under the drive of an electric motor reducer. As the tine chain reaches the top of the equipment, the relative self-cleaning movement between each tine is produced due to the guidance of the slot wheel and curved track. The majority of solid matter falls off due to gravity. The remaining debris stuck on the tines is cleaned by the reverse movement of the cleaning device. The tine chain, similar to a grate, flows in the direction of the water current. The gap between the tines mounted on the tine chain shaft can be selected according to the operating conditions. After the tines separate the solid suspended matter from the fluid, the water flow remains unobstructed. The entire operation process is continuous, or can be intermittent.

Reversing Cleaning Machine
The Rotating Cleaning Machine is a crucial device for removing waste and floating debris during the rotation process, such as waste barriers, debris blockages in floating screens, etc. The cleaning capacity and reliability of the cleaning equipment are particularly important for hydropower plants with higher waste loads. However, like other cleaning machines, the Rotating Cleaning Machine can experience issues and malfunctions if not properly maintained. Next, we analyze the common faults of the Rotating Cleaning Machine.
(1) Wheel Fault: During the cleaning process of the power unit's debris cleaner, the rotating wheel appears to be stuck in the rotation state. As the cleaning volume increases, the severe friction with the track affects the unit's cleaning efficiency. (2) Oil Pump Station Fault: The debris cleaner's grab is typically connected to the oil pump station via a moving cable, where the transmission pressure controls the grab, opening and closing rakes. In actual operation, if there is an inlet in the oil pump station, the hydraulic oil may deteriorate and emulsify, resulting in insufficient pressure to operate the rakes. Water entering the moving cable plug can cause a short circuit. Failure to promptly clear the debris in the barrier not only affects the generator's output but also poses a serious risk of accidents.
