Reinforced Geotextile Grass Mat is one of the eco-slope protection technologies, which, with its unique functions, helps combat slope desertification to some extent and has gained popularity. Not only is it cost-effective, but it is also highly durable. Importantly, it reduces the impact on land, ensuring its integrity and allowing the land to absorb moisture to a greater degree, thereby promoting the better growth of vegetation. In the ecological river channel demonstration project of Yingdong Village on Chongming Island, Shanghai, the application of the reinforced geotextile grass mat eco-slope protection technology significantly increased the shear strength of the slope, enhanced slope stability, and improved the water quality along the river flow through the purification by the slope protection plants.
