Introduction to Pipe Fitting Manufacturing Techniques

Forging Method: By using a forging machine, the end or part of a tube is stretched, resulting in a reduced outer diameter. Common types of forging machines include rotary, linkage, and roller machines.

2. The stamping method: Expand the tube ends to the required size and shape using a conical mandrel on a press.

3. Roller Method: Place mandrel inside the tube, then compress the outer circumference using a roller for round edge processing.

4. Rolling Method: Generally does not use mandrel, suitable for the inner circular edge of thick-walled pipes.

5. Bending Techniques: There are three commonly used methods. One is the Stretching Method, another is the Stamping Method, and the third is the Roller Method, which features 3-4 rollers, including two fixed rollers and one adjustable roller. By adjusting the distance between the fixed rollers, the finished pipe fittings are bent.

6. Blowing Method: One approach involves placing rubber inside a tube and compressing it with a punch to form the tube into an outward shape. The other method is hydraulic blowing, where a liquid is filled into the middle of the tube, and the pressure of the liquid blows the tube into the desired shape. This method is predominantly used in the production of bellows.
