Insulating flange assemblies are a general term for pipe flange joints that meet both the sealing requirements for buried steel pipelines and the electrical insulation requirements for cathodic protection engineering. They include a pair of steel flanges, an insulating seal between the flanges, flange fasteners, insulating parts for the fasteners, and a pair of steel short pipes that have been separately welded to the two flanges. Insulating flange assemblies, along with insulating joints, are products produced for the oil, chemical, and other industries. They feature a simple structure, safe operation, reliable performance, and have received widespread positive feedback from customers.
Insulating flange components have been developed into a series. In case of special circumstances, they can be designed and manufactured according to customer requirements. The main application of insulating flange components is in gas transmission pipelines and equipment for gas regulation, metering, storage, etc. Their primary function is to insulate and isolate sections of gas transmission pipelines and equipment from pipelines, protecting them from chemical corrosion and extending the service life of the pipelines and equipment. The products comply with the standard SY/T0516-1997 "Technical Regulations for Design of Insulating Flange Components."
