Insulating flange components are a general term for pipeline flange joints that meet the sealing performance requirements for buried steel pipelines and the electrical insulation properties required for cathodic protection. This includes a pair of steel flanges, insulating seals between the flanges, flange fasteners, insulated fastener parts, and a pair of steel short pipes that have been separately welded to each flange. Insulating flange components, along with insulating joints, are products produced for the oil and chemical industries, featuring simple structure, safe use, reliable performance, and have received widespread praise from customers.
Insulating flange components have been developed into a series. In the event of special circumstances, they can be custom-designed and manufactured according to customer requirements. These components are primarily used in gas transmission and distribution pipelines, as well as in equipment for gas regulation, measurement, and storage. Their main function is to insulate and isolate sections of gas transmission pipelines and equipment from pipelines, protecting them from chemical corrosion and extending the service life of both pipelines and equipment. The products comply with the standard SY/T0516-1997 "Technical Regulations for Design of Insulating Flange Components."
