1 Cable Technical Specifications
1.1 Conductor
Conductors are made of tin-plated annealed soft copper, conforming to the specifications of the 5th type of soft copper conductors in GB/T 3956-2008, and are wrapped externally with a semi-conductive tape.
1.2 Insulation
Insulation is made of ethylene propylene rubber, in accordance with the specifications of Table 1 for nominal insulation thickness, the minimum thickness at the thin spot should not be less than 90%-0.1mm of the nominal value. The insulation properties meet the requirements of EPR insulation blend as specified in GB/T 12706.2-2008.
Simultaneously extrude both a semi-conductive shield and a removable insulating shield during insulation extrusion.
2 Cable Test Conditions
2.1 The DC resistance of the cable conductor at 20°C should comply with the provisions of the 5th type of soft copper plated metal conductor in GB/T 3956-2008.
2.2 The cable should withstand an AC voltage of 18kV without puncturing in a 15-minute withstand test.
Cables allow a bending radius of 6 times the outer diameter after insulation.

Product Applications (Potential Users)
Temporary power line for electric utility work, internal connections for transformer boxes and switch cabinets, external connections for transformer boxes and switch cabinets, cables for accessory factory testing (reusable).
The essence for all applications lies in the product's flexibility, facilitating reuse with a small bend radius (6D) and minimal space requirements.
Product Structure and Performance Features
The conductors are made of 5 types of soft conductors, usually tin-plated.
6kV and above cables use a triple extrusion process for insulation, offering the same voltage resistance and partial discharge performance as cross-linked cables.
Cables with 6kV and above use copper wire braiding for shielding to accommodate bending and movement requirements, offering flexibility. For short distances (less than 5 meters), metal shielding may not be necessary, but it must be confirmed by a technician.
The jacket is made of chloroprene sheath, featuring flame-retardant and oil-resistant properties.
Four Selection of accessories for medium and high voltage flexible cables
Use cold-shrink or heat-shrink accessories for cross-linked cables, but note: the soft conductor is thicker than the same cross-sectional tight-packed conductor, and the insulation layer is generally 0.5mm thicker than the cross-linked insulation. The overall outer diameter will be more than 1.5mm larger after insulation. There's no issue when crimping the termination sleeves, but the accessory size may sometimes need to be a size larger than the cross-linked cable.
