ERF 12/20kV cable series

2 Cable Technical Specifications
2.1 Conductor
Conductors are made of tin-plated annealed soft copper, which should comply with the specifications for the 5th type of soft copper conductor in GB/T 3956-2008. The conductors are then wrapped with a semi-conductive tape externally.
2.2 Insulation
Insulation is made of EPDM rubber, and the nominal thickness shall comply with Table 1 as specified. The minimum thickness at the thinnest point should not be less than 90%-0.1mm of the nominal value. The insulation properties meet the requirements of EPR insulation compound as specified in GB/T 12706.3-2008. The insulation adhesive is red.
Simultaneously extrude a semi-conductive conductor shielding and a removable insulating shielding during insulation extrusion.
2.3 Shielding Layer
The shielding layer is composed of tinned copper wire braiding.
2.4 External Sheath
The outer sheath is made of weather-resistant rubber, with the nominal thickness of the sheath complying with the specifications in Table 1. The minimum thickness should not be less than 85% of the nominal value minus 0.1mm. The sheath performance meets the requirements of the SE1 sheath blend in GB/T 12706.3-2008. The color of the sheath is black.
3 Cable Testing Conditions
3.1 The DC resistance of the cable conductor at 20°C should comply with the requirements of the 5th type of soft copper plated metal conductor specified in GB/T 3956-2008.
3.2 The cable should withstand a 42kV AC withstand test for 5 minutes without puncturing; under a frequency of 1.73U0kV, the partial discharge quantity should not exceed 10pC.
3.3 The insulation resistance of the cable at 20°C shall comply with the specifications in Table 1.
4 Cable Usage Conditions
4.1 Rated Voltage (kV): 12/20
4.2 Rated Frequency (Hz): 50
