Production Process

Rock wool pipe is a thermal insulation material primarily used for pipelines, made from rock wool adhesive cotton as the main raw material, molded into shape, and then heated and cured to produce various specifications and requirements of rock wool thermal insulation pipes. Additionally, rock wool cotton can be compounded with glass wool and alumina silicate wool to form rock wool composite thermal insulation pipe shells. By adding a waterproofing agent to rock wool, waterproof or hydrophobic rock wool thermal insulation pipe shells can be produced.
Product Features

1. Rock wool pipe systems are primarily made from selected basalt, melted at high temperatures to form artificial inorganic fibers, featuring light weight, low thermal conductivity, excellent sound absorption, non-flammability, and good chemical stability.
2. It is a new type of thermal insulation, heat preservation, and sound absorption material.
3. Rock wool pipes also offer water resistance, thermal insulation, and cold insulation properties, with certain chemical stability. They will not undergo deliquescence even when used for a long time in humid conditions.
4. Being free of fluorine (F-) and chlorine (Cl), the rock wool is non-corrosive to equipment and is a non-flammable material.
Three Uses
Rock wool tube shells are widely used for insulation in various industrial boilers and equipment pipelines in the petrochemical, metallurgical, shipbuilding, textile, and other industries. They are also used in the construction industry for insulation of all types of cold and hot pipelines, as well as for concealed and exposed pipelines. They are particularly convenient and quick for construction in small-diameter straight pipelines. Waterproof rock wool tubes have special functions of moisture-proof, temperature drainage, and hydrophobicity, making them especially suitable for use in rainy and humid environments. The moisture absorption rate is below 5%, and the hydrophobic rate is above 98%.
