It is widely known that effluent pumps are also a crucial piece of equipment in the wastewater treatment industry. In recent years, ...Submersible Sewage PumpIncreasingly popular with clients, it plays a crucial role in various industries, including municipal engineering, construction, catering, and water conservancy projects.
Compared to standard centrifugal pumps and vertical sewage pumps, it boasts several unique advantages. Let's take a look.
1. Compact structure and small land footprint. The sewage pump, as it operates submerged in liquid, can be directly installed within the sewage pool, eliminating the need for a separate pump house for the pump and motor, thereby saving substantial land and infrastructure costs.
2. Easy Installation and Maintenance: Small effluent pumps can be installed freely, while large effluent pumps usually come with automatic coupling devices for automatic installation, making both installation and maintenance quite convenient.
3. The submersible sludge pump operates continuously for extended periods. Due to the pump and motor being coaxial, with a shorter shaft and lighter rotating components, the bearing load (radial) is relatively low, resulting in a significantly longer lifespan than that of conventional pumps.
4. Low vibration and noise, low motor temperature rise, and zero environmental pollution. There is no cavitation damage or problems with irrigation water. Particularly, the latter greatly facilitates the operation staff.
5. The submersible sewage pump is equipped with a high-precision anti-interference leakage detection sensor inside the sealing oil chamber, and a thermosensitive element is pre-installed in the stator winding for automatic protection of the pump motor.
6. Equipped with an automatic control cabinet upon customer request, it provides automatic protection for pump leaks, electrical leaks, overload, and overheating, enhancing the product's safety and reliability.
7. The waste pump employs a unique single or double blade impeller structure, significantly enhancing its ability to pass through debris. It can effectively handle fiber materials up to five times the pump's aperture size and solid particles with a diameter approximately 50% of the pump's aperture size.
The Submersible Sewage Pump boasts strong self-priming capabilities, eliminating the need for a bottom valve in the suction pipeline. It is capable of transporting wastewater containing solid particles and fibrous materials. In addition to being suitable for conveying sewage, it is also applicable as a drainage pump, pulp pump, filtration washing condensate circulating pump, and more.
Submersible sewage pumps can install the pump at a high elevation to directly suck up water from above, which typically takes a few minutes. But sometimes we need to quickly absorb water, so we should understand how to increase the water absorption speed of the submersible pump. The following introduces two methods as follows:
A high-seal bottom valve is installed at the water intake at the bottom of the pool for the submersible sewage pump. Once the water is suctioned up, the remaining water will be retained within the pipeline, thus avoiding the need for re-venting when the submersible sewage pump is restarted, which also enhances the pump's water suction rate.
At the intake of the submersible sewage pump, directly install a vacuum pump for air extraction. We recommend a water ring vacuum pump for this purpose. This type of pump is much faster at extracting air compared to a standard submersible sewage pump. Once a water ring vacuum pump is added, it only takes a few seconds to quickly suck up water.
Wastewater pumps are gaining increasing attention and their applications are becoming more widespread. Therefore, it is still very necessary to understand this information!
