For visible cracks, lay waterproof membrane over them. Clean the perimeter, remove dust, and lay the membrane to achieve waterproofing. For minor cracks, professionals should locate the leak or crack first. If no previous waterproofing, simply clean the leak area to 2-3cm depth and pour asphalt (now available in pre-mixed film form). If waterproofing has been done before, remove the existing layer and leveling layer locally, locate the leak, and chisel out hollowed sections of the leveling layer.
After completing the above steps, a pressure water leakage test is required. The standard is 2kg water pressure for 3 minutes, and 7kg water pressure for 24 hours.
