Installation Aspect
(1) Prior to installation, electric heaters must be inspected for any loose, damaged, or worn parts, as well as for instruments, ensuring there are no issues. Appropriate actions should be taken for any problems found, and installation should not proceed without rectification.
(2) When welding import/export flanges, they should be bolted together first before welding. During the welding process, there should be no flammable materials nearby to ensure the safety of the welding work.
(3) During the installation of a thermoresistor, first check for burrs in the insertion hole. If any are present, they should be cleared before inserting. Also, avoid applying excessive force during insertion.
The shell of the electric heater should be reliably grounded, the base should be securely installed, and the nuts must be tightly fastened without any looseness.
2. Disassembly and Maintenance
Performing maintenance on an electric heater requires first shutting off the main power, ensuring it is de-energized, and hanging warning signs to serve as a cautionary measure.
(2) When dismantling the electric heater, apply moderate force and avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the electric heater and its components.
(3) When dismantling a thermoresistor, avoid striking it with a hammer forcefully to prevent damaging the heating element.
(4) Resistance thermometers should be regularly descaled to prevent accumulation of dust, which could impair their normal operation. Check the wiring terminals and sensor cables for any signs of damage, oxidation, or detachment. If any issues are found, they should be replaced immediately.
