Keep your tent as dry as possible before storing it! After your outdoor adventure, remember to hang the tent to dry in the wind. If the tent is slightly dirty, gently brush it with cold water. Never use chemical detergents or scrub too hard, as this will damage the waterproof membrane on the fabric, reducing the tent's waterproofing effectiveness.

Prepare additional ground cloth and lay it underneath the tent, either inside or outside.
